Social care standards will improve: Autumna partners with the National Care Association

Two leaders in the social care sector have agreed to collaborate to provide greater access to transparent information and raise standards within the care industry.

Autumna, the UK’s largest source of self-funding care enquiries will now work in partnership with the National Care Association (NCA), a respected voice of the independent care sector.

A strategic partnership that will directly benefit care providers

Through this exciting new partnership, Autumna will provide financial and continued support, operating as a key collaborator with The NCA.

Debbie Harris, founder of Autumna, is enthusiastic about the new partnership and the opportunity to create impactful change within the care sector.

“Autumna’s new partnership with the National Care Association makes sense for our community of care providers, as well as for the Autumna brand. Through this new partnership, we aim to increase awareness of the important work that Autumna does to help families find the best later-life care options, whether that be care homes, retirement living developments, home care or live-in care providers. We believe everyone deserves to be able to make an informed choice about their care and are therefore committed to helping everybody across the sector improve standards and well-being through partnerships like this one with The NCA.”

Autumna and The NCA are closely aligned in their values

Both industry leaders are motivated by the need for a strong and influential representation of social care at a national level. Promoting and developing the highest standards of care are values that Autumna and The NCA are both actively working on.

"We are delighted to have forged a partnership with Autumna. I recall from when I first met Debbie , I knew it was a great initiative and have been delighted by its success, not only with providers but for those seeking care services for loved ones. We look forward to working with the team."

Nadra Ahmed CBE, Executive Co-Chair of National Care Association

How does Autumna support care providers to match with clients?

Autumna is uniquely placed in the social care sector, being the only website and advice line specialising in self-funding families looking for elder care.

The Autumna team provides invaluable free advice to 3,000 enquiries from care seekers every month, while the website has over 2.5 million visits annually. This surge of traffic continues to increase, encouraging enquiries to care providers with profiles on Autumna.

Care providers see their services promoted to Autumna's self-funding clients and as a result, they receive higher levels of bed occupancy or home care appointments - all thanks to Autumna.

The Autumna team and technology also differentiate leads so that care providers seeking new clients can quickly identify people that have been pre-qualified based on location, care choice and price.
