Autumna launches new live rating service for care homes

Autumna makes it easier for care providers to collect and display customer ratings of their services

Care providers can now use Digital Reception software to help care seekers make informed choices by collecting 'real-time' ratings of their service and displaying them on Autumna

As well as the obvious benefit to the care seeker, it allows care homes with good ratings to attract the self-funding market.

Debbie Harris, founder and MD of Autumna, the UK’s largest and most comprehensive independent care directory, said: ‘Reviews play an important role in the decision making process, especially with self-funders, but they can be time consuming for care homes to gather and share.

‘We’ve been working on a solution to this and our new service allows ratings to be shared quickly and effortlessly’.

Following the success of a trial over the past few months, the service is available to any care home with a premium profile on Autumna and a digital sign in/sign out process.

Visitors are able to leave a rating when they sign out based on 8 key areas such as safety and security, food and dining, management, and the overall experience. This rating then automatically updates the care home's profile on Autumna, giving live feedback to care seekers.

‘The results so far have been phenomenal’, says Harris, ‘with one home receiving 182 live ratings in just 30 days. This is great news for them, because this is exactly what care seekers are looking for, and with no time or effort required. We think it’s the perfect solution for care homes.’
