DAD Dashboard for Accelerated Discharge logo

A care finding tool for the digital age.

Dashboard for Accelerated Discharge (DAD) is the only system that provides real-time availability for discharge/brokerage teams, reducing the time to identify available care to just 60 minutes.

A B2C proof of concept has been operating since January 2023, supporting on average 3,000 families a month to find care. Using a free Care Finder interactive tool, families are able to identify the care they need and receive a shortlist of suitable providers direct to their inbox. Providers are simultaneously notified and make contact directly with the family.

With a 75% success rate this Care Finding tool has been developed for use in hospitals to support multiple patient discharges, regardless of location, type of care or funding.

Hospital Discharge Report: Care Providers' Perspectives

Our survey quantifies the frustration experienced by care providers with the hospital discharge system, identifying key reasons for delayed discharge. Moreover, it provides evidence to inform national policy to improve the current system, so our elderly get the care and support they need, when they need it. This, in turn, will help to alleviate the strain on hospitals and reduce the financial burden on the public purse.
