This replaces the Profile Strength score with a more transparent and dynamic approach, but with a key difference: greater control for you, the care provider.

How to improve your score

The soft launch of OpenScore (Version 1) is exclusively available to Care Home providers with Premium Profiles at no additional cost. OpenScore will be leveraging the data you've already provided in your profile, so to make sure your score is accurate, please double-check that all of your information is up-to-date. 

The following information contributes to your OpenScore rating directly:​

• Dining choices (including Food Standards ratings)
• Live reviews (supersedes low regulator ratings)
• ESG practices
• IPC
• Transparency of cost​
• Regulator ratings (automated data collection​)
• Registered Manager (automated data collection​)
• Data freshness
