Sakshi Wahi is Care Home Manager at Elmwood.
Sakshi joined Mission Care in August 2017 having previously worked for Bromley Social Services and Compliance Team. She is a compassionate Home Manager who leads with unwavering commitment to provide the highest quality of life for residents in a warm and nurturing environment.
Her mission is to create a home away from home at Elmwood, where residents and their families can find comfort in knowing that their loved ones receive the best care possible. When not working, Sakshi enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors.
Since Elmwood opened its doors in 1952, the home has always been described as having a strong family atmosphere.
“We operate as one big team here at Elmwood. We are a family all working towards the same goal of providing the best possible care for our residents.” Renold Manuel, Clinical Director
This special relationship between residents, relatives and staff has always been at the heart of Elmwood and the incredible teamwork regularly extends beyond the day-to-day routine. The sensory garden project is one example of this – a garden built with the help and generosity of residents, staff and local businesses who recognised the benefit such an outside space would bring to our residents’ quality of life.
