What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

The welfare, safety and happiness of residents, team members and visitors is our number one priority.  In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, our additional stringent measures are constantly reviewed to ensure we continue to meet Government and Public Health guidance, for everyone’s safety and wellbeing, whilst continuing to offer a comfortable and happy place to live, work and visit.

Safe Visiting Space
safe-tick We have a safe visiting space

Regular contact with loved ones is essential for the mental and physical wellbeing of our residents and so we are pleased to be able to offer a range of visiting options for family members and friends.  Our visiting is in line with Government guidance, which is detailed in our Visitor Guidance and Protocols.

Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.

Activities Are So Important

At Evedale, we run a busy activities programme, so our residents are never without something to do, including days out and visiting entertainers. We have good links with the local church, which often visits us for a service.

Another way we can help our residents feel at home at Evedale is by encouraging them to do familiar things. Our dedicated Activities Leaders gently encourage residents to carry on doing things they enjoy. If someone had a hobby or pastime they did before they arrived, we encourage them to continue it with us. Or perhaps they would like to learn something new.

The important thing is that we treat every resident as an individual. If they enjoy sharing time with others, either in our home or on an organised trip out, they’re most welcome. If they prefer quiet time alone, we’ll respect that, too.

Visit us to experience daily life at Evedale. Use this simple form to make the arrangements.
