Meet The Manager

Linda Martinez is Manager at Field Lodge.

Having a role in leadership is a privilege, making the resident’s and teams day is important to me.

I’m very passionate about supporting individuals living with dementia, both initiatives acknowledge a gold-tier level of care as well as heightening support for relatives thanks to a strong focus on person-centred care. From the levels of support and care, I have been shortlisted for ‘Dementia Care Manager of the Year’ at the National Care Awards 2023.

I am keen to create an inclusive environment for everyone. We celebrate all cultures and LGBTQ+ with a variety of activities. Field Lodge has a lovely homely atmosphere, I’m incredibly proud of the whole team who make the home such a comfortable place for everyone.

Linda Martinez

Field Lodge is a purpose-built care home on the outskirts of St Ives in Cambridgeshire. The home offers a range of high-quality services from residential and nursing care, to respite and specialist dementia care.

The home has been shaped by the interests of residents, with a tuck shop, contemporary café, in-house cinema and hair salon and nail bar. Each bedroom is individually decorated, spacious and complete with a widescreen TV and en-suite bathroom. Residents can also enjoy weekly activities in the lively home atmosphere.

At Field Lodge, there is a person-centred approach to care. The team takes time to get to know each resident before they move in to deliver individual care and lifestyle plans to suit their unique needs.

We are proud to have been internally accredited with the evidence-based, person-centered Care Fit for VIPS.

Respite Care Yes

Autumna has invited care providers to evidence the infection control measures they are carrying out, above and beyond those laid out by the government, in order to keep residents, staff and visitors safe.

What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

Whilst being vaccinated is no longer mandatory, Care UK strongly believes that all health and social care colleagues have a professional responsibility to reduce the risk of infection to others and we will continue to encourage our teams to have all their vaccinations.

We also strongly recommend that all residents and their visitors are fully vaccinated, including future boosters, unless medically exempt.

The dedicated lifestyle team, led by Sam, ensures there’s always a wealth of activities to get involved in. Your loved one can expect everything from manicures and pamper sessions to animal visits, exercise classes, reminiscence, film showings and themed evenings.
