Autumna has invited care providers to evidence the infection control measures they are carrying out, above and beyond those laid out by the government, in order to keep residents, staff and visitors safe.
What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe | ||
---|---|---|
The safety and wellbeing of our Residents is our priority; we've taken significant steps to ensure this. We've developed a robust operational quality management system that defines the way that we work, which is monitored by a Clinical Governance Group and inspected by our own team in Service Quality Inspectors. All homes have an infection control champion. Through a range of feedback mechanisms, we constantly monitor the quality of our services by actively encouraging confidential and open compliments, complaints or concerns from Residents, Colleagues, Relatives and Health and Social Care Professionals; this valuable feedback helps us to evolve our services and shape the way that we work. |
Infection Control Initiatives in place | ||
---|---|---|
Independent Assessments | We have been independently assessed in our approach to infection control. | |
Infection Control Training | Our staff are trained to use measures which prevent and control infections. | |
Virus Testing | We are testing for viral infection when symptoms present within our care setting. |
Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications |
---|
Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
