Heartland Manor offers a variety of amenities to enhance the living experience of our residents. Our facilities include inviting lounges, a spacious dining room, a sun lounge, and a dedicated hobbies room. Our lounge is designed to provide a relaxing and cozy atmosphere,  a wide-screen television, and a piano. This versatile space is perfect for casual gatherings over tea and coffee, as well as for hosting entertainment events such as live music performances and guest speakers.  Our hair salon offers the opportunity for residents to feel pampered by our visiting hair dressers and beauticians.

Our newly decorated dining room also offers a coffee shop area for residents to enjoy time out with their family and friends.

The sun lounge is a popular social hub where residents can enjoy pre-lunch sherry, afternoon tea, and coffee. Overlooking the main lawn, this bright and cheerful space offers a welcoming environment for socialising with friends and visitors. Whether relaxing with a book or engaging in lively conversations, the sun lounge provides a comfortable and inviting setting for residents to enjoy.

Our new specialist sensory dementia wing has designed to provide a specialised and supportive environment for individuals living with dementia. This wing is specifically tailored to cater to the unique sensory needs of residents with dementia, creating a calming and engaging space that promotes their well-being and quality of life. The design of the sensory dementia wing incorporates elements that stimulate the senses, such as soothing colours, soft lighting, music and tactile materials. Multi-sensory rooms may be included, offering residents opportunities for sensory stimulation through activities like aromatherapy, music therapy, and tactile experiences. The layout of the wing is carefully planned to minimize confusion and promote independence for residents with dementia. Clear signage, familiar landmarks, and memory aids help residents navigate the space with ease. Safe and secure outdoor areas may also be included, allowing residents to enjoy nature and fresh air in a protected environment. 

The new wing has a Café, Post Office, Florist, lounge, dining room and sensory room. The corridors have been designed to create a journey for residents walking with purpose. Reminiscence of times past to engage and stimulate to make the day interesting for each individual in our care. Specially designed bedrooms all refurbished to offer a high standard of care to all our residents.

Staff in the sensory dementia wing are specially trained in dementia care and sensory stimulation techniques, ensuring that residents receive personalised and compassionate support. Activities and programs are tailored to engage residents' senses and cognitive abilities, promoting social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being. Overall, a new sensory dementia wing in our home  provides a supportive and enriching environment for individuals living with dementia, enhancing their quality of life and promoting a sense of comfort, security, and belonging.

For added convenience, fully adapted baths and shower rooms are available on each floor, ensuring accessibility and comfort for all. Each room is equipped with modern amenities, including a telephone and internet access point, as well as  Wi-Fi throughout the premises. We understand the importance of personal touches, which is why we encourage residents to bring small pieces of furniture and personal items to create a warm and inviting atmosphere that truly feels like home. Our dedicated housekeeping, laundry, and catering staff provide a full-service experience, ensuring that every aspect of our residents' needs is met with care and attention to detail. With drinks and snacks available 24 hours a day, residents can indulge in a variety of refreshments at their convenience, making every moment at our care home a delightful experience.

Our mobility car is designed to ensure that our residents can continue to explore the world around them, whether it's a leisurely stroll in the park, a visit to a local museum, or simply enjoying a cup of tea at a nearby cafe. Our trained and compassionate staff are committed to providing safe and comfortable transportation for our residents, allowing them to maintain their independence and enjoy new experiences outside of the care home.

In addition to our community outings, our residents can also look forward to engaging in a regular entertainers and games of all variety to suit each individual in our care, where they can exercise their minds, socialise with fellow residents, and have a friendly competition. Scrabble is not only a fun and challenging game but also a great way to improve cognitive skills, memory, and language abilities, making it an ideal activity for our residents to enjoy together.
