Heartland Manor is a home for 40 residents, nestled in Brockenhurst the heart of the New Forest, we provide exceptional care for elderly individuals, including those with dementia in our specialised dementia wing, as well as offering residential residents. With over 60 years of experience in the care industry, we are dedicated to offering the highest quality of care and support to our residents. Our care home boasts large, mature gardens that provide a peaceful and serene environment for our residents to enjoy. The sun lounge is a popular social hub where residents can enjoy pre-lunch sherry, afternoon tea, and coffee. Overlooking the main lawn, this bright and cheerful space offers a welcoming environment for socialising with friends and visitors. Whether relaxing with a book or engaging in lively conversations, the sun lounge provides a comfortable and inviting setting for residents to enjoy. Our new specialist sensory dementia wing has designed to provide a specialised and supportive environment for individuals living with dementia. This wing is specifically tailored to cater to the unique sensory needs of residents with dementia, creating a calming and engaging space that promotes their well-being and quality of life. The design of the sensory dementia wing incorporates elements that stimulate the senses, such as soothing colours, soft lighting, music and tactile materials. Multi-sensory rooms may be included, offering residents opportunities for sensory stimulation through activities like aromatherapy, music therapy, and tactile experiences. The layout of the wing is carefully planned to minimize confusion and promote independence for residents with dementia. Clear signage, familiar landmarks, and memory aids help residents navigate the space with ease. Safe and secure outdoor areas may also be included, allowing residents to enjoy nature and fresh air in a protected environment. The new wing has a Café, Post Office, Florist, lounge, dining room and sensory room. The corridors have been designed to create a journey for residents walking with purpose. Reminiscence of times past to engage and stimulate to make the day interesting for each individual in our care. Specially designed bedrooms all refurbished to offer a high standard of care to all our residents.
