All Care UK homes now have purpose-built internal or external visiting suites available which enable visits to take place from behind a sealed glass panel, using a sound system to assist with communication. Where Government guidance and local health teams allow, these suites make it possible to continue visiting even when we have a case of Covid-19 in the home.

Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.

Wireless Internet access (WiFi)

Yes, our care home has WiFi in all our resident’s rooms.

Mobile Phone Network Coverage (mobile “signal”)

Yes, our care home has mobile phone signal in all our resident’s rooms.

Telephone for external calling

No, our care home does not provide a telephone in residents’ rooms.

Social media provides an up to date window on the activities within a provider's setting.

Activities Are So Important

Our activity co-ordinators plan weekly activities, including arts and crafts, pamper days, gardening, reminiscence sessions, singalongs and quizzes so that there’s something to appeal to everyone.

Residents at the care home get very involved in the running of the home. So at any time you may find them helping to run our flower arranging, art or cookery clubs or watering the plants. Our in-house cinema is a great success and one of our residents runs the cinema club, organising and publicising the film showings.

Foxbridge House residents have a soft spot for animals and furry and feathered friends. The local stables have stopped by with horses and ponies. The Foxbridge House gardens are a haven for wild bird life too, and we often spot a fox passing through – proof that our home is well named.
