Juliana Haddaji is Home Manager at Grace House Care Home Limited.

She has over 35 years experience working in the care sector including lecturing in health and social care.  She has been with Grace House for over five years in a variety of roles including Senior Carer and Activities Coordinator.  She lives in Farnham and has three children and 2 grandchildren.

Grace House Care Home is a 21-bedroom, family-run residential home based in the beautiful surroundings of Lower Bourne, on the outskirts of Farnham, Surrey.

Our objective is to ensure that our residents have their choices, independence, dignity and security maintained at all times.

Dining Room We encourage as many of our residents as are able to join mealtimes in the dining room. Residents wishing to enjoy their meals in their own rooms are also accommodated.

 We have a spacious living room, fully equipped with televisions for the residents’ enjoyment. It includes comfortable chairs arranged in groups to encourage companionship and conversation.

We have 21 rooms, all fully equipped to ensure comfort for the residents. 13 of the rooms have ensuite facilities for convenience and privacy. A nurse call system, fire safety system and stair lifts are in place to maintain the safety of our residents. Each of the bedrooms have digital/freeview television and telephone points are also available.

Activities Are So Important

We have two dedicated Activities Coordinators to ensure that our residents are kept active and entertained. Dee Bromley and Katherine Woodger have years of experience working in care and plan a variety of indoor and outdoor activities to keep our residents happy and occupied.

Activities incude: Armchair Keep Fit, with Jordan. Plus: Bingo, Arts and crafts, Baking, Music afternoons, Quizzes and Puzzles, Flower arranging, Gardening, Painting and colouring, Armchair Zumba, Gardening We have an entertainer who comes on a weekly basis for music sessions and residents have access to an extensive range of old and new films and musicals to enjoy in the living room area.

We encourage residents to participate in organised trips to local events and theatres including Farnham Maltings and The Princes Theatre, Aldershot. Walks and visits to local pubs are also arranged for interested residents. Recent trips have also included a Christmas trip to the pantomime and local music events.
