Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications |
---|
Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant. Wireless Internet access (WiFi) Our care home has WiFi in some of our residents’ rooms. Mobile Phone Network Coverage (mobile “signal”) Yes, our care home has mobile phone signal in all our resident’s rooms. Telephone for external calling No, our care home does not provide a telephone in residents’ rooms. |
Social media provides an up to date window on the activities within a provider's setting.
With the restrictions on visiting during the pandemic, social media platforms such as these offer real insight when you are choosing a provider.

Activities Are So Important |
---|
Our Activities Co-ordinators play a fundamental part in delivering our mission of enhancing the lives of our residents by creating a fun and hugely varied program for everyone to participate. A great source of fun and laughter, our range of activities really help each resident live their life to the full. Here at Gold Care Homes, we believe independent activity, hobbies and day to day chores boast self confidence. By taking the time to understand each residents capabilities, we’re able to build a personalized activity plan. Our aim is to create a programme that encourages as much interaction and enjoyment as possible. As you’d expect, most activities are indoors. However, when the weather permits, we make the most of our lovely outdoor patio areas and landscaped gardens. When our residents are feeling a little adventurous, we also plan nationwide trips to popular landmarks! A list of our activities can been seen in the brochure as well as in the reception of each home. |
