Harleston House is an attractive period care home set in a beautiful location in a quiet residential area, close to the park and all local amenities. The home benefits from 39 spacious en-suite bedrooms, attractive communal areas, varied programme of activities and home-cooked food.

Harleston House is one of the most highly recommended Dementia Care homes in the East of England, with exceptional reputation with all healthcare professionals, dedicated highly trained staff and is widely considered the best dementia care home by the local community. The home is rated Outstanding by the CQC.

The Commission gave its ‘Outstanding’ rating in 3 categories: Caring, Well-Led and Responsive.  This puts Harleston House in a very small and select group of care homes across the country.  We are incredibly proud of this rating given by our regulator and also very proud of the amazing outcomes and happy lives our residents lead.

Harleston House care home is situated in an ideal setting, close to the sea.

The home is well appointed and benefits from pretty landscaped gardens, allowing residents and visitors to comfortably enjoy the seasons.

The home is decorated and furnished with dementia care in mind. There are design features employed around the home to help gently prompt memories and assist wayfinding. There are a number of comfortable lounges including an ‘old English tea room’ on the first floor.

Harleston House has a total of 39 single rooms all of which have en-suite facilities. Although each room is fully furnished to a high standard, residents are encouraged to bring in personal items such as pictures, ornaments and small items of furniture. The rooms are also equipped with a call bell system and TV point.
