Hayley Wilkinson is General Manager at Harper Fields.
"I qualified as an RGN in 2006 and have spent over 14 years working in care home settings. I have held numerous roles which include Nurse, Clinical lead, deputy manager and General manager.
I joined Barchester in February 2020 and knew right away it was a company that really live up to the values and knew it was a place I wanted to become a General manager.
I have a desire to provide high quality care, which I have witnessed with Barchester. I am very proud to join such a happy, friendly and caring team who make this a wonderful home for our residents."
Harper Fields Care Home in Coventry is specifically designed to provide high quality 24-hour residential and nursing care, as well as specialist care for those living with dementia. We also offer respite care, which can now be pre-booked up to a year in advance. Our premium facilities and highly trained staff ensure that each and every individual is given superior attention.
Our residential care provides a warm, welcoming and homely environment, with delicious meals and daily activities that include a choice of therapeutic approaches. The care home also features a dedicated Memory Lane Community that provides excellent dementia care for people who need it. Together, the lively social calendar, community & family involvement and a home designed to support independence, helps stimulate residents' minds and encourages well-being.

Activities Are So Important |
---|
There is always something to do here at Harper Fields and always someone to assist the residents in any activity they wish to take part in. We have entertainers come into the home to sing and play instruments on a weekly basis, as well as visits from PAT dogs, hairdressers, massage therapists and nail technicians to pamper those who live here. Residents' spiritual needs are taken into account at Harper Fields; we have regular services from the Catholic and Methodist church, in addition to the Church of England, and for our non-religious residents, we have a weekly calming and peaceful ‘mindfulness and meditation group,’ which is very popular, especially for those living with dementia. Residents often like to attend cinema evenings to watch their favourite films on the big screen (complete with sweets and popcorn), or develop new skills at our computer classes, where they can learn how to Skype their families in other countries. Our activities are tailored to suit the individual interests and capabilities of residents and our specialised equipment enables those we support to enjoy everything we have to offer. |
