Autumna has invited care providers to evidence the infection control measures they are carrying out, above and beyond those laid out by the government, in order to keep residents, staff and visitors safe.
What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe | ||
---|---|---|
Alongside our online training, we have practical infection control inhouse training sessions annually for all staff. Regular hand-washing checks and cleaning schedules are in place for all equipment. We have internal infection control audits and external companies that come to inspect our care equipment. We have policies and procedures in place that all staff have access to, these are introduced at induction and regularly discussed during supervision. In the event of an outbreak, we seek guidance from Public Health England, the GP and the community nursing team. Our annual infection control statement is available for all to review. We are regulated by CQC, with our last review in July 2023. |
