Meet The Manager

Natasha King is Home Manager at Heather View.

"I like to see lots of smiles and interaction with staff and residents. A good working day for me is to know that I have given my all to my team and to the residents, knowing that they have all had a good day and that the care they've received has been the best.

Before joining Heather View I'd worked in independent care homes for ten years. I wanted to stay in the care sector while developing my skills and career and Care UK really helps you to progress. I actually started as a Senior Care Assistant but was offered a promotion to Deputy Manager. At the end of 2017, I was incredibly proud and happy to be offered the role of Home Manager."

Safe Visiting Space
safe-tick We have a safe visiting space

All Care UK homes now have purpose-built internal or external visiting suites available which enable visits to take place from behind a sealed glass panel, using a sound system to assist with communication. Where Government guidance and local health teams allow, these suites make it possible to continue visiting even when we have a case of Covid-19 in the home.

Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
