Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant. Activities Are So Important |
---|
Well, it can be on a nice sunny day and an ice cream in your hand. Highcliffe is only a short drive to the beach, so you’ll often find our minibus heading that way, and its occupants enjoying a bracing stroll. Life within our care home is always stimulating and varied as we recruit energetic Activity Coordinators whose job it is to provide something that everyone can get involved in, whatever their interests, every day of the week. Besides being on the beach, you might find us: • Making collages We like our forays away from our nursing home and visit all manner of local Sunderland attractions, whether it’s trips to the theatre, bird watching in the countryside or just a Sunday lunch down at the local pub. Our family and residents’ committee plays an important role in choosing activities and steering home life in general. After all, it is their lives! |
