Our Building and Facilities

Abbeycrest’s bedrooms and communal areas have been designed and furnished to the highest standards using bespoke materials. A blend of traditional fabrics, wallpapers, and furnishings creates a real home-from-home environment.

Our kitchenettes in the dining areas, where residents can relax together over tea or coffee, help to enhance communal living in the home and give residents more opportunities to socialise.

Our dementia care provision at Abbeycrest has been designed to meet the University of Stirling’s standards. These standards are widely acknowledged as providing the best environment for people living with dementia. Stirling’s Dementia Services Development Centre is renowned as the world leader in this field.

Using the Stirling approach, we can ensure that residents can move freely around the home. Bedrooms and communal areas are appropriately laid out and clearly signposted to minimise confusion or disorientation.
