Claire Sherwood is Manager at Hythe Nursing Home.
Claire has been a Home Manager for 6 years and has worked in social care for 15 years. Claire has previously worked closely with Skills for Care and co-chaired the Registered Managers Networks. She is also qualified as an Infection Protection & Control Link Practitioner.
Claire's goal is to create an outstanding home with empowered staff, delivering person-centred care. The aim is to ensure all residents enjoy a meaningful, safe, and relaxing experience in the home. Staff and residents’ well-being is an absolute priority.
Claire champions safe, effective, well-led and responsive care in line with Care Quality Commission regulations and standards.

The home overlooks Hythe town with stunning sea views, landscaped gardens, and a wonderful terrace for our residents to relax on.
