Meet The Manager

Charlotte Willis is Home Manager at Inglefield Nursing & Residential Home.

Charlotte started off studying Health and Social Care with the Open University and caring for a neighbour.Once her son, Alfie, had started school she started at a care home where she completed her NVQ level 2, 3 & 5 and worked her way up to Deputy Manager. Charlotte was eager to learn more about nursing care which is when she applied for the Deputy role at Inglefield. After over a year in post Charlotte became Acting Manager.

Charlotte has a keen interest in a person-centred approach to care, with the residents involvement within the care planning process to ensure a 'home from home' environment for the residents.

Family time is important to Charlotte and any days off are spent with her family and Lenny the dog.

Charlotte Willis

The charm and elegance of Inglefield nursing home, a magnificent Victorian building, derives from the fact that it was once the family home of Lord Beaverbrook. The attraction of the area is clear with delightful Totland Bay and seaside village Totland a stone’s throw away.

What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

Testing & PPE:

We are now being provided with large scale testing kits to enable us to test and re-test staff and residents regularly allowing us to react quickly and minimising the risk of an outbreak. We have ample PPE from a private source available for staff, residents and visitors to use if required.

We do ask that visits are still booked in advance so we are able to plan accordingly. Visitors will still need to take rapid flow tests on arrival and wear a mask.
