John Kelly is Home Manager at Kingswood Mount Care Home.
Hi, my Name is John. I am the Home Manager of Kingswood Mount.
I have been a nurse since 2002 years and have been a home manager since 2012.
What keeps me in my role is a sense of family and community. I don’t see the nursing home just as a nursing home, I see it as a big house and at the core of the house is family. That family includes the team, the residents and the residents' families. Everybody is treated with respect and dignity.
It's a sense of belonging to the community that brings out the best in all of us, and my home at Kingswood Mount feels like it very much belongs to the local community. A good manager involves everyone in decisions and choices that are made for the home, and I want all our families to also feel part of our big family.
Woolton is a suburb of Liverpool, Merseyside, England. It is located in the south of the city and is bordered by Gateacre, Hunt’s Cross, Allerton, and Halewood1. Reynolds Park is a 14-acre park in Woolton which was bequeathed to the City Council in 1926. The park has a
walled garden and is open 24 hours a day all year round.
Kingswood Mount Care Home is purpose-built to provide the very best of everything, from the outstanding care, to the beautiful accommodation and delightful gardens, to the high quality, delicious food and enjoyable lifestyle activities.
Our dedicated team is experienced and compassionate, they see each resident as a unique individual, reflecting this throughout their
person-centred care. The care team have access to the latest care plan technology and will take time to get to know you, your family and all of your favourite things.
