Katie Ruseva is Home Manager at Lewin House.
As a graduate of the Medical University in Sofia, Bulgaria with a degree in Health and Social Care, along with her extensive knowledge of Pulmonary Disease, Katie has a wealth of experience working in the Social Care sector.
Her career with The Fremantle Trust started at Cherry Garth care home in Holmer Green where she worked with the team as a relief nurse. A transfer across to Lewin House in Aylesbury saw Katie progress within her role, moving from Staff Nurse to Unit Manager and Clinical Lead, to her current role as Home Manager.

Our experienced and friendly 24-hour nursing team provides expert care and support for people with a variety of individual care needs, including dementia. Lewin House is a modern and spacious care home with 70 individual rooms positioned across four wings and plenty of other facilities. Our nursing home in Aylesbury was designed for the effective delivery of nursing care, with a specialist nursing unit located in each wing. There is plenty of communal and outdoor space, so everyone can get involved in the varied and stimulating programme of activities on offer. To make our residents feel at home, personal items can be brought along and added to individual rooms. |

The enclosed landscaped garden area is an ideal space to catch up with friends, or take part in gardening and other outdoor events. At mealtimes, everyone comes together in the sociable dining area to enjoy each other’s company and their freshly cooked meals. We’re also lucky to enjoy the local amenities in the Aylesbury community. |
