Our Building and Facilities

Lime Court is a 44-bed care home, including four double rooms, spread over two floors, with lift access and five separate themed lounges. The home specialises in dementia and care for elderly people, situated near the seafront and within easy reach of local shops and amenities of Dovercourt.

The home has a six bed private wing with en-suites which was opened in October 2012. The purpose-built care home offers a superb lifestyle for its residents with a reputation in the community for the warmth of the staff and the care provided.

A central recreational courtyard area (accessible by wheelchair users), with raised beds, is enjoyed by residents and families, along with a side garden and large patio area. Together, staff, family and friends have created a reminiscence lounge with items from the early 1900’s to present day.

The care home receives regular visits from hairdressers, opticians, chiropodists and a therapist who offers massages in a sensory room. A full time activity coordinator arranges activities which include regular outings to local attractions, live entertainment, knitting clubs, card clubs, bingo, pet therapy, plus many more.
