Meet The Manager

Katie Flint is Home Manager at Longwood Lodge Care Home.

Katie joined Longwood Lodge in 2016 as a Care Assistant through Katie's hard work and commitment to first class care she has risen to become Manager of Longwood Lodge.

She is very passionate about providing an extremely high level of person-centred care at all times, and is very aware that the residents are at the centre of the home.



Katie works closely with her team and likes to know that everyone who lives at Longwood Lodge has a happy sociable life.

Longwood Lodge Care Home is set within its own private grounds and has beautiful views of Alexandra Park. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated and includes ensuite facilities and a 24 hour call system. Residents are encouraged to personalise their room with personal items such as ornaments and photographs.

Delicious meals are served with daily menu choices available. Special diets can be catered for, residents may eat in the home's pleasant dining rooms or in their own room if preferred.

Residents can engage in some of the many stimulating activities and events that are organised at Longwood, including arm chair aerobics, sing a longs, bingo, quizzes, arts and crafts, pampering sessions, and many more. Residents can also benefit from services such as a mobile library, weekly hairdresser visits, optical and dental service and a chiropodist.
