What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe | ||
---|---|---|
We have CCTV in place to ensure the safety of all our staff and residents. At the entrance to Manor Park there is alcohol gel available, staff ask visitors to sign in the visitors book so that we are aware on who is visiting. Staff wear gloves and aprons when helping people with personal care. Any new admissions are still asked to have an LFT done on admission. If staff are unwell they are advised to stay at home. The Clinical Leads in the service are also the Infection Control Lead Nurses who are responsible to look after and manage the risk in the home, this includes liaising with PHE if there is an outbreak in the home. There are monthly infection audits completed, also quarterly infection control audits. Every month an audit is completed looking at enquired infections and also hospital admissions. There is also a robust housekeeping team with a manager that are responsible for ensuring that regular deep cleans are completed in bedrooms as well as keeping up the overall cleanliness of the service, the house keeping team have access to commercial steamer and ozone cleaning machine. |
