Our home was among the first in the county to take part in the government’s care home testing programme in Summer 2020 – and we’ve been regularly testing colleagues and residents since. Vaccinations have been offered to all residents and colleagues and we’re making sure anyone coming to work in our home after 11 November is fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (unless exempt for medical reasons) – in accordance with government requirements. |

---|
You will be spoilt for choice at Manton Hall, with our various lounges and sitting areas, where you can relax in style. Our plush, restful and stylishly arranged main lounge opens to the sensory garden beyond. The intricate fireplace, fish tank and display of lovely pictures and flower arrangements add to the inviting and homely feel. A large flat screen television, DVD player and daily newspapers provide recreation and entertainment, whilst the sensory baskets arranged around the room inspire memory function and stimulation for residents with dementia. Manton Hall is surrounded by two picturesque gardens. Trees, shrubs, flowers and a manicured lawn are regularly tended by both our skilled gardener and our very own residents. A vegetable patch in the sensory garden grows delicious, organic produce which is incorporated into our delectable menu. Tea and cakes are served on warm afternoons outdoors. |

You are welcome to choose your bedroom from those available and you’re invited to personalise it with your own ornaments and pictures, so that you feel truly at home. Many of the rooms have recently been refurbished to a very high standard. The ground floor rooms are most suitable for our less mobile residents and some of our rooms have space for a separate seating area where you can entertain your guests in privacy. Several can accommodate couples wishing to share a room. All thirty four bedrooms are single occupancy and all have their own individual characteristics, so each one is as unique as its resident. |
