Neshie Alamo is Manager at Maycroft Care Home.
I have been qualified as Registered Nurse since 1997 in my home country Philippines. Before I moved in the UK I was working in Singapore hospital.
My career in the Care sector started 17 years ago and I have held a range of positions. Before joining Maycroft I was working in one of Advinia’s home in Norfolk as a Deputy Manager.
Whilst working in care I have been lucky enough to received several awards. In 2021, I was a Regional Finalist in the Great British awards East of England for Frontline leader. This year I was a Finalist for Inspirational Senior Care worker in Star of Social care awards.
For me this is not only a job but a vocation. I have a passion for making differences in peoples lives and for our residents to have a compassionate and quality care. To always make sure that their wellbeing are being prioritized.
