Laura Quince is Manager at Newgate Lodge Care Home.
With over three decades in social care, I've honed my skills and passion for fostering positive outcomes. I bring a wealth of experience, innovation and a commitment to high-quality person-centred care. In previous roles, I have been recognised for leadership excellence and commitment to dignity in care.
Newgate Lodge is a thrilling chapter in my career. I'm excited to be part of a strong and well-established team and together, we're committed to providing the best possible care and outcomes for our residents. The opportunity to manage this wonderful home, with its exciting plans, is one I embrace with pride. From day one, I've been struck by the amazing staff at Newgate. We're not just a team; we're a family. The dedication and support I receive from this exceptional group are unparalleled.
Newgate Lodge Care Home is a residential home situated in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire which supports elderly residents with day to day care. The home is ideally located close to the town centre with good bus, rail and road links to ensure loved ones can conveniently visit anytime. Newgate is also only a short journey to the picturesque settings of Newstead Abbey and Sherwood Forest.
Newgate is registered to provide Residential and Dementia care for 60 older persons. We have been awarded the Dementia Quality Mark and our CQC rating is “GOOD” with good achieved in all 5 inspection areas. The home has a warm family atmosphere as well as excellent outdoor and indoor facilities

Newgate Lodge Care Home is a purpose built 60-bed, all ensuite, residential home providing day to day support for elderly residents. This home is designed to accommodate those needing a lower level of care as well as residents with dementia. We are currently renovating a third lounge inside the home. Inside the home we have 60 en-suite rooms, many with shower facilities. The assisted bathrooms are equipped with mechanical powered (Arjo and Parker) Baths, with completely separate showering facilities (wet rooms). |
