Lisa Frame is General Manager at North Park.
I have worked for Barchester since 2016 starting off as a senior carer and working my way up to Deputy Manager and now General Manager.
I have worked for the care sector since 2002 in various care settings, including other care homes and hospitals. I am very passionate about providing high quality person-centred care to those we support.
North Park Care Centre provides residential care for older people, those living with disabilities or sensory loss, as well as people living with dementia. We strive to offer the best possible quality of life in terms of medical support, physical surroundings, meaningful activities and hospitality. Our skilled and attentive staff ensure that residents can maintain their dignity, independence and choice, irrespective of physical or mental health.
People living with dementia are cared for in our dedicated Memory Lane Community, which has been specially adapted to support those living with the condition, using careful design and colours. It includes reminiscence aids, memory boxes and a life skills kitchen to help keep residents keep active. We base our care on regular assessments and reviews, involving both the individual and their family.
Located in Darlington with scenic park views and safe, secluded gardens, North Park is also close to local amenities and not far from the A1.

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
