Activities Are So Important

Our nursing homes have Wellbeing and Activities coordinators to encourage and facilitate residents to choose daily activities which have the simple objective to encourage social interaction and stimulation. These activities are designed as to improve the variety in residents' daily lives, introduce new skills and enable residents to discover new passions.

All of Country Court Care's homes have developed very strong ties with their local community. We always encourage local people to attend events at the homes, as well as encouraging residents to join in the fun.

At Norwood Grange we offer a lively program of activities, our Activities and Well-being Coordinators support our residents to continue to enjoy their hobbies and interests. From our Garden club, Knit and natter group and Gents' Club there is always something going on for everyone to enjoy.

Residents are encouraged to fully participate in home life if they wish to can help with household tasks such as light dusting, folding laundry, laying the table for lunch or watering the garden. We also enjoy being part of the local community and take regular outings to local events and invite local schools and groups to visit the home. Events are held in the home and the local community are encouraged to take part and be part of life at our home.
