Laura Older is Home Manager at Oak Manor Nursing Home.
I have always wanted to work in care, it is my passion and I feel extremely fortunate to be the home manager at Oak Manor.
I began my career in care by volunteering at a nursing home and I loved every second of care home life. As I became a senior carer, I decided I would fulfil my dream of becoming a nurse, studying adult nursing and gaining a first-class degree. As a qualified nurse, I drive the highest standards of person-centred care.
When residents choose to make Oak Manor their home, every day will remain just as they like it, with careful note taken of their preferences, from waking times to food choices, hobbies and interests.
We are here for you and your loved ones every step of the way to help and will do all we can to put our residents and their families at ease. The most important thing is that they are happy.
