Anita Hopkins is Manager at Agnes and Arthur.
Anita started off as a care assistant in care, in a care home at an early age, and later on providing 1:1 care for individuals in the community with acute health conditions.
With over 17 years of varied care experience working in care homes and community settings, Anita has plenty of experience in providing palliative (end of life) care and dementia care. The majority of Anita’s care experience is from care homes and has been a home grown success story within our organisation, starting to work for the Safe Harbor group in March 2015 as a trainee Senior Carer and has progressed within our organisation through her hard work and dedication. Anita’s internal progression culminated in her achieving a CQC Registered Managers’ position in December 2017 and then moved to manage Agnes and Arthur in December 2018 where she has remained since.

We have 44 well renovated bedrooms which includes 6 double rooms for couples, each with TV/DVDs in their room. Agnes and Arthur residents have their own personal salon within the building, with expertly trained hairdressers on site weekly. Communal areas are available with regular leisure and recreational activities such as regular outings where possible. Anita’s background is complimentary therapy in which she has attained a degree which assists her regularly whilst overseeing the care of the residents in her home.

The home has 44 bedrooms, as well as communal areas, that have been furnished to the highest standard. Agnes and Arthur, as with any Safe Harbor care home is subject to regular renovations however the most recent was in April 2022 when all the communal areas were refurbished. Bedrooms mainly comprise of single rooms, although we are also able to accommodate couples in one of our twin rooms. We are in the process of installing en-suite wet rooms into our bedrooms where we are able to. |
