The Deputy Manager supports this role and takes charge in the absence of the Manager. Senior Carers and Carers tend to the care of residents.
The Orchard Care Home is situated in established wooded conservation and residential area, half a mile from the excellent amenities of Huyton town centre, a residential suburb of Liverpool, lying approximately six miles east of the city centre. It was created within four spacious and well-appointed Victorian houses built around 1840, which were once the dormitories for Huyton Girls College.
Orchard Care Home has friendly, well-trained, caring staff who strive to ensure residents live in comfort, in a social and relaxing environment. It can offer long and short term, nursing, residential and dementia residential care.
The Orchard is also registered to provide palliative nursing care, elderly and mentally infirm residential care and residential day care. A variety of entertainment and stimulating activities are available at the home. Healthy, balanced meals are prepared for residents every day.
