Darren is Humby at Park View Care Centre.
With over 30 years of experience in healthcare, Darren brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to Park View Care Centre.
A Registered Nurse by background, Darren has worked across a variety of specialities, both in the NHS and in private healthcare.
At Park View, Darren believes that great care comes from great teamwork and that leadership and governance are key to helping his team become the best versions of themselves. Darren’s goal is to ensure that Park View Care Centre continues to be a place where both staff and residents thrive, with everyone working together to deliver the exceptional care that residents and their families expect.

Situated in a pleasant area, Park View Care Centre is purpose-built and carefully designed to support our residents to live happy, fulfilled and comfortable lives.
Located over two floors, our home includes light and airy, open plan lounges/diners as well as spacious en-suite bedrooms, and a variety of communal spaces such as a bar, quiet room and hair salon.
Our landscaped gardens are wheelchair accessible and designed to be a welcoming place for people to relax on one of the patios complete with outdoor furniture, or to enjoy a spot of light gardening in the raised flower beds.

We also have the advantage of being located next door to Jelly Beans Day Nursery. The children visit our residents weekly and everyone benefits hugely from the intergenerational relationships they have formed. |

Supporting our residents to enjoy every day living at Park View Care Centre is a key focus for our dedicated team. By getting to know each person, we are able to tailor our activities and events to their likes and dislikes as well as activities they may like to try. No two days are the same here and, alongside our usual daily hobby-based activities, we also like to host events which are a little out of the ordinary. In addition to keeping fit with our chair-based exercises, art therapy, quizzes, movie afternoons, and our knit and natter club. We regularly welcome visiting entertainers, school pupils, and other local groups to our home to enjoy spending time with our residents who love getting dressed up for our themed days throughout the year — complete with themed menus and decorations! |
