Kim Turton is General Manager at Pennington Court Care Home.
Kim has been working in care since her first role as a carer in a hospital aged 18.
Prior to her training to become a Registered Nurse she spent three years combined working across hospital and community care including work in care homes and in domiciliary care.
During her training to become a Registered Nurse she worked across all age groups from neonatal to older people. She has extensive experience in supporting people with mental health, complex care needs and learning disabilities.
Having completed her BSc Nursing degree she went onto to secure a Masters in Health Care Management.
Pennington Court provides a variety of options for people depending on the care need. Our location offers residential care as well as Extra Care Plus Apartments for the more independent person. these apartments enable you to rent your accommodation and have a package of services tailored to your life and social care needs.
Based in the convenient location of Beeston, Pennington Court has a long standing reputation for excellence.
With our residential care services, you are in control. Each resident is treated as an individual and with dignity. We develop individual care plans, based on residents’ personal preferences and encourage feedback from residents and relatives so we can continually improve our practices.
Pennington Court is conveniently located on Hunslet Hall Road in Beeston, close to Leeds city centre and on a major bus route, with a stop just outside the main entrance.

We enjoy offering our residents a wide and varied social calendar. Pennington Court has a variety of spacious lounges and quiet rooms for socialising, relaxation and activities together with bright and airy dining rooms where meals are enjoyed. There is also a sheltered courtyard garden where our more green fingered residents enjoy their activities while others sit and enjoy the summer. The home also has a hairdressing salon.
