Meet The Manager

Lynne Cotterell is Centre Manager at Pinehurst Care Centre.

My care background started in 1986 after I had my children. I worked in a large nursing home as a Senior Carer working nights. NVQ 1 was introduced I started studying to further my knowledge. In 1991 I moved out to Berkshire and worked at a local care home for twelve years where I continued to progress my education completing NVQ 2,3,4 and my R.M. Award. After this, I was given the opportunity to work at a specialist Dementia care home as their Centre Manager in a turnaround role. I did this for two and a half years before joining the Pinehurst Care Centre in 2009 where I have had the most wonderful journey and met some incredible people along the way.
