What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe | ||
---|---|---|
Regular Cleaning: Common areas and residents' rooms are regularly cleaned and disinfected, with high-touch surfaces receiving extra attention. Hand Hygiene: Staff, residents, and visitors are encouraged to use hand sanitizers and wash their hands frequently. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members wear PPE, such as masks and gloves, especially when in close contact with residents. Ongoing Training for Staff: Staff members receive regular training on infection control, first aid, emergency procedures, and resident safety. Safety Policies: Staff are educated on reporting potential safety hazards and are encouraged to bring up any concerns regarding resident or staff safety. Support for Staff: We offer mental health support and resources to help staff manage stress, particularly during challenging times. Safe Environment: Facilities are designed with resident safety in mind, such as with handrails, non-slip flooring, and easy-to-access bathrooms to prevent falls. Regular Health Assessments: Care staff monitor residents' health regularly and ensure any changes in condition are quickly addressed |

Infection Control Training | Our staff are trained to use measures which prevent and control infections. |
Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications |
---|
Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
