Meet The Manager

Andy Kirby is Care Home Manager at Roseland Court Care Home.

A warm welcome to Roseland Court Care Home in the picturesque village of Tregony.

We pride ourselves on offering a friendly, family environment with high standards of person-centred care. We’re also incredibly proud of our Cornish identity, with home-baked Cornish pasties the star of the show at our St Piran’s day celebrations!

Roseland Court sits right at the heart of the village community, surrounded by tranquil Cornish countryside and beautiful gardens.

Our care team always put our residents first, and deliver person-centred care with such enthusiasm, professionalism, and personality.

The wonderfully natural way the staff interact with the people we support makes me smile every single day.

What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

At Roseland Court Care Home, the health, wellbeing and safety of our residents is at the heart of everything we do. Although we have made many changes to the way we work, our teams continue to ensure that life is enjoyable and fulfilling for those in our care. With well-established infection control procedures and a dedicated clinical governance and quality team to oversee these, we have been able to react quickly and safely manage the pandemic in our care home.

Safe Visiting Space
safe-tick We have a safe visiting space

We are delighted to have reunited our residents with their friends and loved ones inside our care home. Regular visits allow you to spend quality time together, celebrate special occasions and make happy memories.

To keep our residents safe, we are continuing with enhanced cleaning routines and ask all of our visitors to follow the infection control procedures in each of our homes such as regular hand hygiene.

Should you develop symptoms of a virus, such as a continuous cough, high temperature, sore throat or are generally feeling unwell, we respectfully ask you to refrain from visiting until the symptoms have subsided and you feel well again. To help us mitigate the risk of bringing viruses into the care home, if you appear to be unwell while visiting, our team will ask you to reschedule your visit.

Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.

Activities Are So Important

An aspect of helping our residents to feel at home is for them to do familiar things. If they had a hobby or pastime they did before they arrived, we’ll encourage them to continue it with us. Or perhaps they may like to learn something new. The important thing is that we treat every resident as an individual. If they enjoy sharing time with others, either in our home or on an organised trip out, they’re most welcome. Or, if they prefer quiet time alone, we’ll respect that too
