Sandra Ludlow is Care Home Manager at Rowans Care Centre.
I believe that great care is not just about rules and regulations, though we follow these to high standards, it is also about real human relationships and emotions. That is why we care about our residents' stories and getting to know each of them like family
We ensure that everyone has a full choice in every aspect of their lives at Rowans. From supporting them with their hobbies and interests to what they would like to eat each day.
All of us at Rowans feel privileged that people entrust us with the care of their loved ones and we believe that we have a duty to make everyone’s stay here a truly pleasant one

Set in a quiet residential area of the market town of Macclesfield, Rowans Care Centre is a purpose-built care home with a wonderful family atmosphere. With a highly trained team, Rowans delivers excellent residential and nursing care for its residents.
Our home offers a very warm, welcoming and vibrant atmosphere, with a dedicated activities team who run sherry mornings, bingo sessions, games and exercise, arts and crafts and baking sessions. Our residents also enjoy regular performances from local musicians and entertainers.
Rowans has been extensively refurbished to a high standard. The addition of an extension has provided a large conservatory living area on the ground floor. In addition, there is a smaller quiet ‘Reminiscence’ lounge and family kitchen located on the second floor.
