Karen Taylor-Williams is Manager at Royal Hampton.
I studied at St George's Hospital in Morpeth completing my Registered Mental Nurse training in 1990.
I married Karleen in 2014 and between us, we have seven children. I now have 3 grandchildren who give me immense pleasure and joy. The children and grandchildren are always at our house so home life is hectic and noisy but I wouldn't have it any other way.
We have three dogs and three cats but have had many different animals over the years. I have worked in the private sector since 1991 and have managed care homes since 1994, specialising predominately in Dementia Care. I won "Best Dementia Care Manager" Award with the Dementia Times in 2010. I have worked at Royal Hampton since 2018, it is an amazing place to work with lovely people and see myself here until I retire.
Live in Luxury at Royal Hampton, Ponteland our 73 Bed superbly luxurious care centre which has been specifically designed to a very high standard.

We are working within the government guidelines to help protect our staff and clients. |
Infection Control Initiatives in place | ||
---|---|---|
Independent Assessments | We have been independently assessed in our approach to infection control. | |
Infection Control Training | Our staff are trained to use measures which prevent and control infections. | |
Virus Testing | We are testing for viral infection when symptoms present within our care setting. |
Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications |
---|
Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
