Lisa Grey is Manager at Sandringham Care Home.
Sandringham is a purpose-built 92-bed care home located in the heart of Bishop Auckland, Durham, providing care for residents with a variety of physical and mental health needs. The home is spread over three floors, each with its own dedicated staff, including registered nurses, senior care staff, and experienced caregivers.
The care home is run by a team that includes a home manager, deputy manager, assistant manager, and a front-of-house administration team, along with nurses, care staff, maintenance, housekeeping, and kitchen teams. Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
