Meet The Manager

Emma Smith is General Manager at Stamford Bridge Beaumont.

Hi, my name is Emma and I am the General Manager here at Stamford Bridge. Welcome to our website! I have been working for Barchester since 2015. I qualified as a general nurse in 2004, and have worked as a nurse within the local community and hospitals in the area, and I am passionate about delivering the highest quality of care to those we support. There's never a dull day!

I consider myself to be extremely privileged to work with such wonderful people, full of humour with wonderful stories to tell. I know it’s a cliché, but we are like one big happy family—I love being here!  I am lucky to be supported by a fantastic team that demonstrate a nurturing warm and compassionate approach.   The homes core objective is to promote a quality ethos centred person centred care, enabling and giving peace of mind to everyone we come into contact with.

What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

We are working within the government guidelines to help protect our staff and clients.

Infection Control Initiatives in place
safe-tick Infection Control Training Our staff are trained to use measures which prevent and control infections.
safe-tick Virus Testing We are testing for viral infection when symptoms present within our care setting.
Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
