James Greene is General Manager at Sunnybank House.
As the general manager for Sunnybank House it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our home.
I will regularly be found around the home with our residents seeking feedback and discussing new ideas and initiatives on how to have a continued drive for excellence. Team development is a huge passion of mine and I work tirelessly with my Sunnybank colleagues to ensure they have everything they need to provide the very best care and support.
My career in the care industry started when I was 15 where I took a washing up role in my local nursing home. I developed a great passion and buzz for supporting people and very quickly knew that this was the career I wanted.
I have held every role in the home in my time, even stepping in to cook lunch on a few occasions. I have worked in both small and large companies in home, regional and operational manager roles but my passion lies in home management where I can spend time each day with the amazing residents we have.
Established in 2014, Sunnybank House is a purpose-built care home that offers 60 spacious en-suite rooms in a luxurious, safe and welcoming home environment. In addition to expert 24-hour care, we provide a wide variety of engaging activities and outings to keep our residents stimulated, connected and happy.
At Sunnybank House, we have the expertise and facilities to take care of you or your loved one for as long as you want, whether you seek the companionship and stimulation of day care, a comfortable home and help with everyday tasks, more complex nursing care, or specialised dementia care. Short-term respite is also available for those in need of convalescence, holiday cover or simply a break.
Our friendly management team has an unrivalled depth and breadth of experience gained from many years’ service in all aspects of high-quality residential care. They dedicate their extensive knowledge and skill to leading and mentoring staff so that, together, we are the difference in the lives of every individual within our care.
