Bennett Mott is General Manager at Sutton Grange.
Welcome to Sutton Grange's website; my name is Bennett and I am the General Manager here at the home.
I have worked as a Nurse/Manager in care services since I first qualified. I have a great belief in a strong infrastructure of clinical decision-making that supports, protects and enables people to live the life they choose to its fullest extent. Our job is to maximise independence, spirit and the uniqueness of everyone who chooses our care home.
Barchester has shown me that it is determined to improve the experience of living in a care environment. Their commitment shines in the building of Sutton Grange and I feel privileged to have been asked to shape its future. I am looking forward to building on achievements and helping to create a strong, vibrant and inclusive home that is seen as a community asset and has a reputation for clinical excellence. I want Sutton Grange to be the location other professionals contact to learn from.
Sutton Grange Care Home in Southport has been specifically designed to provide high quality residential, nursing and respite care for the elderly, including individuals living with dementia.

Our 24-hour care is provided in a warm and welcoming environment, with delicious meals and daily activities, including a choice of therapeutic approaches. Together with our lively social calendar, this helps to stimulate residents' minds, and empower them to approach their future in a positive way.
The home also features a dedicated Memory Lane Community which provides bespoke nursing care for individuals living with dementia. Activities Are So Important |
---|
Here at Sutton Grange we work really hard at providing a range of activities to suit our residents needs. We understand that everyone is different and we enjoy supporting our residents in whatever activities they would like to take part in. With a dedicated Activities co-ordinator and a friendly team of volunteers we are always busy with activities. We have several clubs including; gardening, film, craft, music, puzzles, and singing. We enjoy live music and entertainment, both in and outside of the home, and have regular outings on the minibus to local places of interest. Residents take part in animal assisted therapy, afternoon tea, arts and crafts classes, and visits from local community groups and school children. We believe it is important to provide stimulating, meaningful and relevant activities for our residents in order to make friends, and build a warm community to live. |
