What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

We are working within the government guidelines to help protect our staff and clients.

Infection Control Initiatives in place
safe-tick Infection Control Training Our staff are trained to use measures which prevent and control infections.
safe-tick Virus Testing We are testing for viral infection when symptoms present within our care setting.
Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.

Activities Are So Important

There’s no typical day at Sutton Lodge, but we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.

Lots of fun to be had. There are movie afternoons with popcorn, visiting performers, and trips down to the river to get an ice-cream.

Staying sharp, we encourage residents to keep their mind and body together with music and gentle exercises.

We love animals, Wilf the sausage dog is a pet therapy dog, and there’s also Tabitha the cat. We have pet therapy with visiting chickens, kittens and rabbits. We’ve raised chicks in the past. We have visits from Zoo Lab, which brings in unusual beasties and creepy crawlies.
