Meet The Manager

Ervin Gergely is General Manager at The Epsom Beaumont.

With 10 years of experience in healthcare, my passion has always been creating a warm, supportive, and high-quality environment for residents, staff, and families alike.

My goal is to ensure that Epsom Beaumont continues to be a place where residents receive excellent care, staff feel valued, and families have peace of mind.

Ervin Gergely

Epsom Beaumont Care Home offers first class 24-hour nursing care and a bespoke Memory Lane Community for people living with dementia, as well as day care for non-residents. Our team are passionate about providing quality care and work to support people regaining independence, choice and freedom in their lives in a safe and comfortable setting. Our person-centred approach focuses on the individual needs of residents and uses tailored care plans for each person.

Our Memory Lane Community specialises in residential dementia care to enable every resident to thrive in an environment designed to stimulate and enrich their lives whilst giving families peace of mind and security. The Memory Lane Community is also open to day care, which will offer a safe and stimulating environment for just a couple of hours or for a full day.

Epsom Beaumont is conveniently located in the historical market town of Epsom, renowned for its horse racing, where our superb Grade II listed building is both within walking distance of the vibrant town centre and nestled in its own picturesque grounds. A major refurbishment in 2017 also saw a bright new reception area and beautiful new dining room, along with comfortable and tastefully decorated new bedrooms.

What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

The Epsom Beaumont is working within the government guidelines to help protect its staff and clients.

Infection Control Initiatives in place
safe-tick Independent Assessments We have been independently assessed in our approach to infection control.
safe-tick Infection Control Training Our staff are trained to use measures which prevent and control infections.
Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.

Activities Are So Important

At Epsom Beaumont, the daily activities always aim to be enjoyable for all. Our Activities Coordinator is constantly working to mentally and physically stimulate each resident and ensuring that our programme is define moulded to the wants and needs of those we support. We host weekly outings to many local coffee shops, and also some bigger trips to Brighton and the Brooklands Museum. Our outings tend to be a new and exciting experience for residents, but are sometimes repeated for those who could not make the trip the first time.

The activity schedule changes weekly, but there are some regularities, such as our crossword and bar nights, where families are invited to join their loved ones for a social evening. Activities are one of the most important aspects of a care home and we are proud to say we have a dedicated Activities Coordinator who is supported by all of the care team to really make it successful. We have received excellent feedback from residents and relatives, which only makes our bond with them stronger.
