Simon Paul is Home Manager at The Hazelwell.
Simon is the Home Manager at the Hazelwell Care Home and brings a wealth of experience having worked in healthcare for over twenty years having started as a Care Assistant in a nursing home. He then completed his nurse training and has worked across a variety of settings within the NHS for around 15 years; from surgical wards to intensive care, via theatre and then as a nurse specialist.
Simon then returned to care homes in 2019 and has held roles of Deputy Manager and Home Manager before joining the Hazelwell. Simon is most passionate about delivering high quality care whilst ensuring that the residents have an environment that is both homely and welcoming for their friends and families.
The Hazelwell Care Home is a stunning all-inclusive 55-bed care facility that offers residents high-quality nursing, residential, dementia, and respite care, as well as a luxurious lifestyle.

Autumna has invited care providers to evidence the infection control measures they are carrying out, above and beyond those laid out by the government, in order to keep residents, staff and visitors safe.
What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

The safety and wellbeing of our staff and residents is paramount and we work in accordance with government and local healthcare regulations to ensure that all policies are adhered to which include: |
Infection Control Initiatives in place

Infection Control Training | Our staff are trained to use measures which prevent and control infections.

Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications |

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
