Our Building and Facilities |
---|
The Langston was built by the Earl of Ducie as a hunting lodge with stabling for forty horses in the 1870s. It was built using stone from the private quarry of his father-in-law, Squire Langston. It later became a popular hotel. In 1985 it was turned into a residential home. The property was chosen not only for its suitability in having wide corridors and no steps within the building, but also for its beautiful setting with lovely views over the Cotswolds in all directions. |

Activities Are So Important |
---|
Here at The Langston, we understand that each individual may have different hobbies and interests. As well as our variety of daily activities which include, arts and crafts, celebrations, music, sensory and themed activities, we also like to ensure we have activities planned for our residents outside of the home. As well as larger group trips to the places mentioned above, we also take residents out for walks, to local coffee shops and to have tea and cake in one of our two courtyards – We believe being outside in the fresh air, with the noises of birds and trees can have a huge positive impact on our residents. |
