I am proud to be the Manager at The New Grange care home. I have worked at The New Grange since 2011. My background has been care since the age of 18 and I have a passion for Dementia care. It is a pleasure every day knowing that we are making a difference to our residents' lives.
I'm passionate about providing quality care and enjoy getting to know my residents. Myself and my team are here to help and are ready to provide you with a warm welcome.
The New Grange is our multi-award-winning residential dementia care home located not far from the seafront in Worthing, West Sussex, and close to the main hospital.
- We have 48 beautifully appointed rooms, some with double occupancy if required
- The home boasts a main lounge for relaxation, entertainment and other activities, and a quiet area
- We provide four freshly home-cooked meals every day, with a varied and changing menu
- Meals are served in our spacious dining room with the option to eat in the lounge or one's own room.
- Residents can be pampered in our own hair salon.
- Reminiscence therapy is very important for people living with dementia and we have our own dedicated room
- We have a secure, large, beautiful rear garden
- Activities within the home are plentiful and varied and our own minibus provides days out for the residents

Our communal areas include the main, spacious lounge where residents can spend their time just relaxing, undertaking activities, or being entertained. It includes a Hydration Station for refreshing drinks. There is also a quiet lounge which is an ideal location when families and friends visit, should they wish. Our well-equipped hair salon is used to ensure the residents can be pampered. |

Our Activities Co-ordinator Jennie ensures a packed programme of varied events for our residents throughout the week. This includes arts and crafts, exercise, reminiscence sessions and entertainers, their visits always being welcomed by all residents. We also take residents for days out using our own minibus. |
