Julie Beale is Registered Manager at The Orchards Residential Home.
Julie originally trained as a nurse in Surrey before moving back to Swindon in 1987 after meeting her husband. She has over 30 years of nursing experience with the past 20 years in care homes as a nurse, a clinical lead, deputy manager and manager. She has numerous qualifications including RN2, Mentor - Northampton University, NVQ Assessor and Leadership and Management Level 5.
Her passion is Elderly Care - especially Dementia and End of Life care. Julie has a very open and honest approach and puts our residents first at all times giving compassion not only to our residents, but to their families as well.
She has an 'open door policy' and is a firm believer that the Orchards is our residents' home.
In her free time she loves to spend time with family and friends, walk her dogs and read.
Set in beautiful grounds laden with fruit trees, The Orchards Residential Home is a 10 minute walk from the village of Wroughton – a small village with a lot of community spirit. You will find a treasure trove of history nearby with Stonehenge and the Uffington White Horse on the doorstep.

Proximity to town makes it easy for our residents to take trips to the Old Town Gardens with members of staff. We also have a varied timetable of daily activities including film afternoons, armchair basketball, Tai Chi and aromatherapy sessions to help stimulate the mind. |
